DYNATUNE-XL RIDE & HANDLING MODULE
The DYNATUNE-XL RIDE & HANDLING MODULE (see R&H section) has been specifically developed & validated over the last 30 years around the equations of a Bicycle Model & a 7-DOF Vehicle Model and is entirely focused on providing an efficient tool for optimizing the basic RIDE & HANDLING behavior of a vehicle. Two levels of complexity allow clients to select the best suited variant for their specific needs and knowledge status.

Various features - among them for instance, the all important influence of Suspension Compliance - can only be found in hugely complex expensive multi-body vehicle dynamics simulation tools, which does underline the inherent potential of this tool.
With the latest RELEASE 8.1, the R&H MODULE does also provide the possibility to include Limited Slip Differentials and/or apply ideal Torque Vectoring next to an Enhanced Representation of the Steering System and as such allowing the User to investigate in great detail the effects of Yaw-Moment on Vehicle Balance and Torque Feedback into the Steering Wheel.

The DYNATUNE-XL SUSPENSION DESIGN MODULE (see SDM section) provides with it's unique vector algebraic approach the possibility to model and analyze the geometry and (steering) kinematics of any kind of Independent Front & Rear Suspension Type. Even the most complex Multi - Link Suspension architectures with or without Pull/Push-Rod & Rocker Anti-Roll Bar Linkages can be analized with the Software.

DYNATUNE-XL SDM does provide in the EXPERT Version also - quite uniquely and not offered by any of it's peer competitor tools - the ability to analyze elementary compliant suspension behavior, either by providing a reference metrics table or by displaying the results of (combined) contact patch force induced suspension link loads & deflections.

- Non-Linear Wheel Force Deflection Curve and/or Non-Linear Motion Ratio Curve which is especially important for Non-Linear Push-Rod / Rocker Motion Ratio Suspensions on High Down Force Formula Cars.
- Additional Damper Top Mount which are common in OEM Standard Suspension Setups for improved Ride Comfort and Filtering.

Many Damper Manufacturers do also hold a license and use the Module to great satisfaction for first shot damper valve settings. DYNATUNE-XL BRAKE-SYSTEM DESIGN MODULE
If you are a club racer or you build your own car, the following two tools can be of great value to you. Our DYNATUNE-XL BRAKE-SYSTEM DESIGN MODULE (see BDM section) does allow to design (or mix & match) brake hydraulic systems with all parameters needed to optimize braking performance and define piston & disc diameters of the braking system resulting in the best possible braking balance. Classical Tandem Master Brake Cylinders or Racing Brake Bias Balance Bars are available as base configurations. |
DYNATUNE-XL DRIVe-LINE DESIGN MODULE
The DYNATUNE-XL DRIVE-LINE DESIGN MODULE (see DDM section) does permit to optimize gearbox (up to 8 gears) and differential ratios and match the Powertrain perfectly to the Engine Characteristics. A must have tool for any racer using a custom build gearbox.
If you are into Electrical Drive-Lines, these can also be simulated and optimized. Powertrain and Rotational Inertia's of the 4 Wheels can also be fully considered. |

From RELEASE 8.0 onward, all Modules of DYNATUNE-XL do come as a compiled executable (*.exe) binary file which will call MS EXCEL® as a separate stand alone instance. Source code is copyright protected and safe data handling is guaranteed through secure binary files.
Standard Customer Licenses are typically valid for the use of the workbooks (and ALL user-saved variants) on 1 computer and for 1 user only without a timing constraint. The protection software offers to the customer next to the security of encoded binary data handling also by means of a unique License Key Verification Procedure a state of the art data protection.
Technical support is available for the latest version releases only and there is no annual maintenance fee. Existing clients with older product releases can acquire "upgrading" licenses to the latest release or step up to the next higher version at special client rates.
